Our Core Value System

Getting To Our Core

It comes from the inner structure around which we build our lives. Around our inner structure is called our core value system. Our core values motivate our decision making as well as the actions we will take.

Let us focus on restored relationships between the unsaved and God, let us focus on God’s ability to transform our identity (sin) back to Him through Salvation (the only good).

The ability to experience Him is outcome and our purpose is to represent Him with unconditional love toward others. Our Father’s heart is about relationship with one and another and us. What we truly need is from Him, not others. The world is full of brokenness, broken relationships and broken families.

Admit you are a sinner and that this sin is holding you back from the relationship with God. We must believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that Jesus died and rose again.

Core Value – Love Them And Honor Them

First, we must love others because God first loved us. God’s love compels us to take action in finding the light that we all hold. The light is your unique attribute that causes others to be attracted to you. Honor one another regardless if we agree with them or not is key. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved

John 3:16-17

Core Value – We Can Learn To Love The World

We are all called to evangelize in one form or another. What I mean by that is how do you want to influence another? Is it by practicing law, being a caretaker, doctor, business person, a teacher, find your niche and make a difference in another person’s life. We must have experienced something, that we want others to learn from. We can always improve something for the better. Our experiences in life happen for a reason. How can you influence another into action?

  • Is your story full of action filled events or action filled words?
  • What is motivating you to take action?
  • Who are you willing to befriend?
  • What has God done in your life?
  • What is He continually doing in your life?

Core Value- Forgiveness and Un-Forgiveness

Unforgiveness hinders us, has someone hurt you and you refuse to forgive them still? If so, they are winning because, you have imprisoned yourself, dwelling, fuming, about the matter continually.

A core value to have is to release yourself from this incarceration (prison) by forgiving what they have done. Start right now by saying; Jesus, I forgive _____ for everything they’ve done to me and everything they haven’t done for me. I release them right now in Jesus name.

Lord, is there anyone else I haven’t forgiven? If so, Jesus, thank You for forgiving me and empowering me to forgive other people. I release them all to you and I break the power and chains of un-forgiveness. Come and fill me with your peach and Your presence during this difficult time.

Core Value- Confession

If you confess with your mouth Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved for with the heart One Believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Romans 10:9-10

Core Value – Conviction

The holy spirit brings conviction of sin. We must repent our sin to Him and ask for forgiveness. The answer to sin is a restored relationship with God from the sin that took place.

but when the helper comes whom I shall send to you from the Father the spirit of Truth Hooper seeds from the father he will testify of me and will you also bear witness because you have been with me from the beginning

John 15:26-27

but as many as received him to them he gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in his name

John 1:12

most assuredly I say to you the hour is coming and now is when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live

John 5:25

and when he has come he will convict the world of sin and of righteousness and a judgment

John 16:8

Righteous means right relationship with God. Our encounters with God is ongoing and full of discoveries. These encounters forms our identity.

Jesus, thank You for revealing Yourself to me. thank you for dying on the cross for all my sins Because You Loved Me. I believe that you rose again from the dead and are alive.

Today I give you all of my past sin. Please forgive me and come into my heart, I receive you as my savior, my healer, and my deliverer, I renounce any other spirit that I have invited into my life because of hurt and pain, I command them to leave me right now in Jesus name. Holy Spirit, Come and fill me, transform me, and Empower me to be like Jesus. I welcome you, Holy Spirit, to transfer my life.

Empower me to be a witness to tell others about the love of Jesus that I have experienced. I pray that each us will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Its now time to thank Jesus for saving me and restoring my relationship with God.

The Holy Spirit

The holy spirit deposits seeds of truth into our hearts and shines a light of truth on our sin and empowers me to confess the sins for which I need forgiveness. He will remind you of past sin and will show how distant you are from God. The holy spirit brings past sins to remembrance. the holy spirit opens your heart reveals Jesus Christ to you if you are unsaved and reveals God’s love and acceptance God is able to transform us.

Love produces confidence, identity, belonging, empowers, replaces anger with love, removes depression, anxiety and fear.

Our lens, see’s things, like how we live. Let others find the gem (light) within you.

New Creation

Get alone with the Lord Jesus (Christ), meditate on God’s Word/Gospel (Bible). Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal his truths from the scriptures in the bible. What things in the Bible jump out to you?

Rest in God’s presence. Ask Him your questions, wait for Him to give you your answer. He will in His timing not your timing. Write down what he is saying to you conqueror, disciple.

What question are on your heart right now? Ask Him, he responds to me worthy. God is always present, ask, He will respond.

God sent His Son Jesus to restore us in relationship with Him through Jesus. Ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit dig deeper and read Acts 2 in the Bible.

Now, ask the Holy Spirit is there anything You would like to reveal to me today? He said, I made you for the roadblocks, bumps and curves in the road (life). When He shows you a roadblock (hurdle) renounce it and ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to be an overcomer.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal God’s love for others around you. Empower me to be a witness to others.

Your Testimony Is Waiting To Be Heard

Yeast Has A Purpose

The breads essential ingredient is yeast, it is an living organism and it is best to use yeast at room temperature.

What decreases the yeasts activity is when it comes in direct contact with salt or sugar

Take the yeasts using a thermometer, its temperature should be 120*f to 130*f

Add the yeast as a wet substance before mixing it with dry ingredients.

Incorporating Sugar with Yeast

Dissolve 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/2 cup of 110*f to 115*f water then, add up to 3 individual packets of yeast, depending on your sugar solution. Next, stir in yeast until completely dissolved. Let mixture stand until yeast begins to foam vigorously (5-10 minutes).

Re hydrating dry yeast before using it gives it a good start because, the yeast will feed on the sugar allowing it to become very active and ready to work in your dough.

Benefits Of Consuming Yeast

  • rich source of B Vitamins
  • converts fermentable carbohydrates as maltose, glucose, fructose and sucrose into carbon dioxide and alcohol.

Conversion table of yeast is based on the amount of flour in your recipes.

Ex: the recipes calls for 6 cups of flour you would use 2 (.25 oz packets) or 2 1/2 teaspoons of dry yeast.

Batter Breads

  • are made by mixing
  • coarser bread
  • has only one rise

Kneaded Breads

  • can be kneaded by hand or with a heavy duty mixer using a dough hook.
  • are shaped by mixing and kneading the dough.
  • the kneading develops gluten from protein in the flour
  • even texture and has a smooth rounded top.
  • can be left for 15 minutes at room temperature
  • cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours to slow the rising process then gently push your fist into the dough to deflate it

A Rise

How to get a rise out of your dough is rather simple

  • grease a large bowl (twice as large as the dough) using shortening or cooking spray,
  • add the dough to the greased bowl turning it so all sides of the dough are greased.
  • cover the bowl of greased dough with saran wrap
  • set this bowl on a rack in a warm draft-free place. over a bowl of hot water.

  • Shiny Crust – beat the egg use a little amount of water. If desired, sprinkle with oats, poppy seeds, caraway, sesame seeds, rosemary, etc.
  • Golden Brown Crust – brush with softened butter or margarine
  • Crisp Crust – brush or spray lightly with water
  • Soft Tender Crust – brush with milk

Slash the top of the bread with a sharp serrated knife (1/4 inch depth in the center of the bread).

  • adjust oven racks
  • center the pan, sheets, stoneware in the middle of the office not touching anything else.
  • crisp, brown crust, bake on stoneware sprinkled with cornmeal.

  • store in a cool, dry place for 5-7 days.
  • refrigerator causes bread to become stale faster
  • freeze 2-3 months

Are You Rising?

When it comes to life are you rising up or falling down in life?

Yeast Breads

Many children in crisis spend a large part of their time living in the juvenile system, social services, foster care and group homes.

Today, is one of the days that I will be mentoring the girl inmates individually within the juvenile hall. The incarcerated boys and girls are 18 years old and younger. There are more boys than girls.

At some point these children may have been beaten down mentally or physically or just trying to escape their family dynamics by running away and getting caught up with the enemy.

All have fallen down a few times and when we do we fall we need someone to pick us up. We need help and encouragement as we go about life.

Some of these children need to be told that they can rise up from where they are, but, they also need a person to help them when they fall.

We call it being a mentor to the mentee. These children need a good person in their life, someone they can call when they are down or when they are thinking about doing something bad to themselves or another.

The needs of youth in crisis have evolved. their upbringing has or have received reinforcement of negative behaviors. Mostly, by the people who have existed in their lives.

There are youth that rebel with their parent, teachers and various others when it comes to what they want or do not want to do. Parents must create boundaries, curfews, etc. Schools have detention, suspension and expulsion in place for a reason. If these youth do not attend some form of education they will be considered illiterate and they may then challenge the law because of their choices. Some youth have been forced to fend for themselves because their family unit is so messed up, a lack of. If the family unit is missing the youth will turn to gangs to feel like they belong to something.

The good that come out of incarceration is that when youth are incarcerated they have to attend school in the institution, The sad news is that these youth are trying to finish junior high and/or their high school education.

Causes or Causations

Yeast Expiration Date (age)

  • Due to age the dough it may not to rise because the yeast is too old. Let’s think about that for a moment. What comes to mind when you think of children? Are they to old to rise up and change the cycle they have been amongst?

Yeast Temperature (lukewarm)

  • The yeast or the water was to hot and killed the yeast.
  • The rising place was too cool, lukewarm.
  • The water was too cool to activate the yeast

Where does lukewarm get you? No where! He will spew you from his mouth!

Yeast Environment (controlled)

  • The bread falls in the oven because the oven was too cool from the start. Much like us trying to be cool when it comes to parenting.
  • The dough may rise too much and get too little light. Much like the darkness that is all around us.

What do some of our living situations look like? Are you willing to fall or rise up in your circumstances?
